All our Syrup is Grade A with one ingredient "Pure Maple Syrup". Depending on the time of season, usually six weeks in the spring. Maple Syrup can range in color and taste. See below for details.
Once Maple Syrup has been opened, it must be stored in the refrigerator or freezer until the next use. If an opened container has been stored in a cabinet or on the counter, mold can develop but the Syrup can be saved by re-heating the syrup to 180 Deg. F and then placed in the refrigerator. "Pure Maple Syrup" is a natural sweetener without any additives or preservatives,. See "Nutritional Facts" for details. If it's warmed in the microwave or cooktop, the chance of sugar crystals forming are greater in the container which are harmless for consumption.
